Cactus mammillaria wiesingeri ssp apamensis - Cactus mammillaria wiesingeri ssp apamensis (latin)

Area of origin: Mexico ( Toluca).
Adult Dimensions: Up to 12 cm in diameter and up to 9 cm in height.
Soil Type: Avoid too much moisture, provide extra drainage if necessary.  Dislikes lime. 
Exposure:  Good sunlight but not burning heat.
Watering: In winter, none summer generously.
Over-wintering: Maintain at temp between 0 and 5°C and avoid environments that are too wet.  Can sometimes tolerate temperatures to -4°C if sheltered.



Characteristics and Uses:
This little round cactus produces a beautiful carmine pink flower in summer measuring up to 1cm in diameter.
