Looking after advice:

- Plan for regular watering, letting the earth ball dry out slightly in between.
- Space out watering during winter but mist the foliage regularly if the surrounding air is too dry.
- Avoid letting water stand in the saucer as it could lead to roots' rot.
- In March, give it a slow release fertiliser or a conifer's fertiliser.
- Re-Potting is done every two to three years, in the spring in a slightly bigger pot in a mix of free draining compost and sand.
