Raspberry 'Heritage' - Rubus idaeus 'Heritage' (latin)

Area of origin: The United States of America.
Adult dimensions: Height: up to 1.5 meters. Spread: up to  1.5 meters (4,9').
Foliage: Deciduous.
Soil: Suits all soil except chalky.
Hardiness: Hardy up to -30°C.
Position: Full sun.


Properties and uses:
The 'Heritage' is a self-fertile, double cropping variety. It reproduces fruit until the autumn. After the first harvest, cut the stems to just above soil level and after winter, prune only the dry wood from the stems which produced fruit in the autumn. It is these stems which will be responsible for the first yield the following summer. 'Heritage' variety raspberries are of medium size, very firm and tasty.
You can train your raspberry bush around a pergola or along a fence.
