Dwarf French Filet Beans Fin de Bagnols - Phaseolus vulgaris (latin)

Early variety, filet type.
The green pods are long (17-20 cm), rounded and slender. They turn red to light brown when fully mature. They become stringy only late.


Type of soil: Deep, rich, and well-drained.
Sowing time: From April to May. In August.
Harvest time: In June. From September to October.
Site: Full sun.


Sowing technique:
- Sow every 8 to 10 cm, in rows 3 cm deep and 50 cm apart.
- Cover and pack the soil.


Care:
- Hoe regularly.
- Water generously after the blossoming and keep the soil moist.
- Early sowing is not recommended, as white beans are not cold tolerant.
