How may I choose a natural Christmas tree?
During the Christmas Holiday, the focus is put on fir trees, but not all of them can adapt to our gardens!

- Nordmann Fir :
the Nordmann fir tree needs a lot of water, so we recommend planting it in regions with an annual rainfall of 600 to 1500 mm.
- Norway Spruce :
Spruce trees are adapted to acidic soils, so it is better to avoid limey soils. It also needs a lot of water.
- Atlas Cedar :
Atlas Cedar is adapted to drought and to any types of soil.
- Umbrella Pine :
Umbrella Pine is adapted to drought and thrives in light soils. We advise you not to plant it in regions with very cold winters.
- Maritime Pine :
Maritime Pine is adapted to well-drained, non-limey, sandy soils. Best when planted along the Atlantic coast.
- Japanese Red Pine :
: Japanese red Pine thrives in light, non-limey soils. Its spreading shape reminds people of a miniature Umbrella Pine.
- Dwarf Mugo Pine :
This slow-growing dwarf Pine will not grow over 1m50 in height. It can be planted in a pot.
- Lace back Pine :
Lace back Pine is very rare and drought resistant. Bushy in shape and slow growing, it can be planted in a pot.
After the Holidays, you can plant your natural Christmas tree and let it enjoy a second life!
Throwing away your Christmas tree is out of the question! Because it is living and growing in a pot, don’t hesitate to transplant it in open ground or in a larger pot. This way, you may decorate it again next Christmas, and follow its growing year after year, in a virtuous and economical circle!
