'cornue des Andes' Tomato - Allium porrum (latin)

Hardy and early variety with a good yield.
The fruits have an elongated shape, they are thick-walled, juicy and have a few seeds.
They are digestible, tasty, and low in acidity.


Type of soil: Rich and well-drained. Work the soil deeply.
Sowing time: From February to April.
Harvest time: From July to October.
Site: Full sun.


Sow inside:
- Sow three to four seeds in a pot. Cover lightly and water well.
- Choose the strongest plant from each pot once they have come through. Check the pots every day to ensure they are moist to avoid the plants dehydrating.
- Around March time, you can take the plants out from under cover.
- At the end of May the young plants can be planted out in the vegetable plot, make sure there is 50cm between each plant.


Care:
- Remove the side shoots and stake the plants as they grow.
- Water each plant regularly.
