It is an excellent coreless variety.
It has only a few leaves, but they are deeply attached to the top.
It has a smooth skin; the coloured flesh is sweet and juicy.
Type of soil: Deep, light, and rich. Preferably sandy.
Sowing time: From March to August. (late sowing allows a better storability of the crop)
Harvest time: From June to November.
Site: Full sun.
Sow directly into the ground:
- Sow in rows 1 cm deep and 25 to 30 cm apart in a soil that has been plowed down and enriched. Cover with sand or light soil.
- The first time you thin out, keep one seedling every 5 cm.
- The second time you thin out, keep one seedling every 7/8 cm.
- Hoe and water generously and frequently in dry weather.
Care:
- Sow with radishes, this way you will have a double crop, and you will protect the carrots from pests like spider mite.
- Protect the crop with an anti-insect netting. The carrots like garlic, onion, or leek because they protect each other from pests like flies.
