Mesclun - Mescla (latin)

A mix of assorted young salad greens (10% each) : Walloon curly Endive, Common Blonde Chicory, Verone red Chicory, Bordeaux cornet Escarole Endive, Garden cress, 'Rougette de Montpellier' Lettuce, 'Sucrine' Lettuce, Oak leaf Lettuce, Large seeded Lambs lettuce, Arugula


Type of soil: Any soil
Sowing time: From February to October.
Harvest time: From April to December.
Site: Full sun.


Sow directly into the ground:
- Lettuce seeds are cold hardy.
- Sow in rows, cover with a thin layer of manured soil, water with gentle spray.
- Thin out the seedlings, to keep one plant every 20 cm.


Care:
- Water thoroughly in dry weather.
- Spread mulch on the ground.
- Harvest according to your needs once a firm heart has formed.
