Characteristics and uses:
The Viburnum Farreri is a shrub which has an upright shape becoming more rounded with age. It is an unavoidable shrub in the winter-garden. Its first pinkish-white, fragrant blossom starts during the autumn, coming back in successive waves, up to March. Then its young coppery foliage appears, before turning green in summer and purple in the autumn. The Viburnum Farreri is perfect grown in flowering or mixed hedges, or in a flowering bed. It can also be grown in pot, on a terrace or a balcony. Place it near a walkway so as to enjoy its lovely fragrance! Finally, if pruning becomes necessary, do it after blossoming.
