Phyllostachys bamboos
The Phyllostachys bamboos are the most widespread in Europe. The majority of these bamboos are very hardy and able to survive temperatures below -20°C.To identify them easily you just need to count the number of branches that come from each knot. For the Phyllostachys, there are generally two branches of unequal size.
