Brigela® Weigelia –
Weigelia 'Brigela®' (latin)
Area of origin: Central Asia, China, Japan Korea.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 3m ( 9,8'), width up to 2m (6,6').
Foliage: Deciduous, variegated with yellow.
Soil Type: All. Avoid that which is too wet.
Hardiness: Hardy to -20°C.
Exposure: Semi-shade to full sun.
Characteristics and Uses:
This bushy shrub flowers from may and sometimes until September. The little flowers are a magnificent shade of red. They look fantastic against the lovely variegated leaves. Weigelias can be planted alone, in groups or within a mixed hedge.
