Spanish Heather - Erica australis (latin)

Geographical origins: Spain, Portugal, Northern Morocco.
Adult dimensions: Height up to 1.5 m, width up to 1.5 m.

Properties and uses:
This Spanish heather is best shown off around the base of other plants or when used as ground cover. It does best grown in a sunny position with well drained soil. Its crimson flowers appear between April and June on the previous yea's branches.
It is quite slow growing and is therefore ideal for growing in a tub. If combined with other heathers you should be able to obtain a display that flowers for most of the year.
