Characteristics and Uses:
This big tree is very elegant with its long sloping branches. Planted alone in parks it is also used to create magnificent avenues. Bonsai enthusiasts like to use this species to work on. The wood is very strong, fragrant and resistant to moisture and termites such as those found in the temples of the Middle East and India. Can be used for veneers.

List of Cedars:
Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica), extremely sought after by bonsai connoisseurs.
Lebanon Cedar (Cedrus libani), characteristic spreading shape.
Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica Glauca Pendula), its weeping shape makes it quite an exceptional tree.
