Description: Cactus, pink Easter Lily

 Pink Easter Lily Cactus - Cactus echinopsis eyriesii (latin)

Areas of origin: South America.
Adult Dimensions: Up to 15 cm in diameter and up to 30 cm in height.
Soil Type: Avoid too much moisture, provide extra drainage if necessary.  Dislikes lime. 
Exposure:  Good sunlight but not burning heat.
Watering: In winter, little, in summer, generously.
Over-wintering: Maintain at temp between 0 and 5°C and avoid environments that are too wet.


Characteristics and Uses: This little cylindrical cactus produces beautiful white flowers on stems up to 20-25cm long and in 10cm diameter.  These are followed by green fruits 4cm long and 2cm in diameter.
